Three paramountcies in the Daffiama- Bussie – Issa constituencies were the last but not least paramountcies visited by the representation of the regional campaign team led by the ace Regional Chairman, SB Kangberee and the Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih.
The entourage of the regional chairman and minister composed of both constituency officers of the New Patriotic Party for the Daffiama – Bussie- Issa Constituency and regional officers including the first Vice Chairman, Alhaji Abdul Rahaman Aziz (White), the second vice chairman, Mr. Cletus Angpennuo, the regional secretary of the elephant party, Hon. Isaac Alitu, the regional treasurer, Hon Tanko Daniel Dauda, the deputy regional organizer, Mohammed Zakariya Chikay.
Hon. Nadi Imoro Sanda, the District Chief Executive who doubles as the parliamentary candidate was officially introduced to the paramount chiefs of Daffiama, Bussie and Issa traditional areas.
The regional minister spoke on the successes chalked by the government whereas the regional chairman strongly made the point that the meat of the elephant is too big for the consumption of all and sundry regardless of which class one belongs ; the aged and the young. He mentioned LEAP programme, school feeding programme, free SHS education policy as deliberate government policies to ameliorating the inherited suffering of the Ghanaian people.
The District Chief Executive touted some of his achievements in the district and in the three paramountcies from sanitation through to education, health and agriculture ; the construction of a district warehouse, a ten room dormitory building as well as a 12 unit classroom block at Daffiama SHS with a 10 seater water closet toilet. The ongoing construction of a technical senior high school in Bussie. He also added that Saaparee is now open defecation free (ODF) thereby has eliminated cholera.
On the area of health, Hon. Sanda also added he has constructed an operating theater in Daffiama Health center. He pledged that soon, Daffiama health center will be upgraded to a polyclinic to serve the health needs of the people.
He charged the chiefs and their people that the volume of work done by him and the president is enough justification to be voted for as a member of parliament and to maintain Nana Addo as president of Ghana.
Chairman SB Kangberee and Dr. Hafiz Salih both promised to donate 50 bags of cement each towards the construction of Bussie Naa palace.
The chiefs welcomed the regional chairman, the regional minister and their entourage and prayed for unity of purpose.
